The Genesis Group is more than just a meeting; it is a family. Throughout the year, we host various activities designed to strengthen group members spiritually, emotionally, mentally, socially, and physically. From our famous summer cookout to our annual Christmas party, these events provide a unique opportunity to gather, sing, and socialize.
- Devotionals: Monthly devotional held on the first Sunday of every month to uplift with music and the word
- Annual Summer Cookout: Held on the first Saturday of June to celebrate the beginnings of Genesis Group and Juneteenth
- Annual Christmas Party: A festive gathering on the first Saturday in December
- Annual Sisters Conference: A moment to gather our sisters for spiritual strengthening and socializing held in September in honor of Jane Manning James
- Youth & Primary Gatherings: We offer quarterly youth and primary activities where these Black children of our Heavenly Parents can be together
